Mobile Service Technicians
Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking full-time Mobile Service Technicians to be based out of our Baltimore and Middletown Regional Service Centers. The Mobile Service Technician for our Baltimore Service Center will service our southern customers. Seeking two Mobile Service Technicians for our Middletown Service Center to support our customers in the north and the south, respectively.
We are seeking qualified candidates to analyze malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds and maintains fire and emergency equipment. This includes, but is not limited to the units, pumps, compressors, and generators. Operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose discrepancies. Dismantles, repairs, reassembles vehicles or equipment utilizing hand tools and hoists. Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using precision measuring equipment. Repairs, rebuilds, overhauls, replaces defective assemblies and components such as collector gear boxes, transfer cases, differentials, and both water or hydraulic pumps. Tests overhauled equipment to insure operating efficiency. Welds broken parts and structural members.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of experience in the heavy truck industry required. Pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory driving record required. Additionally Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B with Tanker Endorsement is required or must be obtained within three months of hire. ASE and EVT certifications as well as state inspection license a plus.
Equipment Sales Specialist
Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking full-time Equipment Sales Specialist to support our South Western Region of Virginia customers .
He/she will be responsible for maintaining and building new customer relationships and demonstrating and communicating product specifications and their benefits to customers. Candidates must have at least two years of prior knowledge of the fire industry and manufacturer brands associated with equipment lines. Requires travel to meet with customers, attend meetings/trainings, participate in regional trade shows and attend company events
Individuals must be highly motivated, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills, exhibit the ability to work independently through a flexible schedule and understand various computer programs. Successful candidates will have prior sales experience and be able to lift up to 30lbs without assistance.
Inventory Control Manager
Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Manager which will be responsible for all aspects of the purchasing functions as it relates to inventory management and profitability. The Inventory Control Manager will work alongside our sales and service teams to make sure we have the correct inventory on hand to profitably exceed our customer expectations.
Success candidate will have a high school diploma and at least six years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidate will also need to routinely lift up to 40lbs without assistance and will be required to travel to our locations and vendors. Experience in the fire and emergency markets, prior utilization of CDK (formerly ADP) and managing multi-sites is desired.
Atlantic Emergency Solutions has an entry-level opening for a full-time Shop Assistant (Helper) at our Middletown Service Center. Job responsibilities include daily cleaning for the shop, minor building maintenance, heavy-truck detailing, inclusive of interiors and exteriors, running shop errands, and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned. The successful candidate needs to be able to follow direction and assist the team with variety of tasks performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment. Position requires the candidate to be at least 18 years of age and have at least one year of work experience or an equivalent of combination of education and experience. A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record with the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. Further a CDL, Class B with Tanker Endorsement must be obtained within designated timeframe from date of hire.
The successful candidate will also complete a pre-employment drug screen and will be subjected to random alcohol and controlled substance testing. Candidate must be able to lift up to 40lbs unassisted and having a fork lift certification is preferred.
Towing and Recovery Sales Specialist
(Heavy Truck Sales)
Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking qualified candidate to lead the Towing & Recovery division sales for the Hampton Roads territory. The Towing & Recovery Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing new and maintaining current customer relationships by selling tow trucks and equipment within the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, or equivalent, at least four years of previous sales experience, verifiable customer service experience and/or training, strong communication skills (written and verbal), and good sales and territory management skills. Towing, automotive, or trucking industry experience preferred and knowledge of light, medium, and heavy duty trucks is a plus.
Breathing Air Technicians
Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking multiple full-time Breathing Air Technicians to serve our customers in Southwest Virginia, Baltimore and Frederick Maryland, Manassas Virginia and Washington, DC service areas .
The Breathing Air Technicians are responsible for the service and support of all types of SCBA and related compressed air products. Areas of service and support include but are not limited to air compressor, compressed air dryers, compressed air accessories, application, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, service maintenance and proper installation.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of trouble shooting industrial/commercial compressed air systems or related experience. Scott SCBA maintenance certification and experience highly desirable. Candidate must be computer proficient as required for communication, research, work orders and programming various controllers as well as use of computerized testing equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow effective interaction with all levels of the organization and external customers. Candidate should possess a strong work ethic and capacity to continuously learn compressed air systems and industrial equipment/electrical components. Must have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record. Overnight travel up to 20% is required and ability to lift up to 40lbs routinely without assistance.
Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking full-time Parts Specialist in our Manassas Regional Service Center located in Manassas, VA and Collision Center located in Vinton, VA .
This position is responsible for identifying and researching requested parts through any means necessary to obtain the required component(s) and create necessary purchase orders to obtain them. Additionally, the Parts Specialist will be required to receive stock, pick, ship and return items as well as oversee the Service Center’s overall inventory. The Parts Specialist will also be responsible for processing all parts invoices and credits when received from the vendors.
Successful candidate will have at least one year of prior related experience and be able to lift up to 30lbs without assistance. Applicants should be proficient in basic computer programs, have excellent oral and written communication skills, superb organizational skills and experience with billing practices.
